13 Reasons Why is coming back for a season 2, and it will be bringing along new teen drama. Netflix released a teaser trailer for the hit, but very controversial, show, and announced a premiere of May 18.

The series, based on the novel of the same name by Jay Asher, focuses on the death of Hannah Baker (played by Katherine Langford), a high school student who left behind 13 cassette tapes meant to explain why she killed herself but that was covered in season 1.

The truth is developing.

Now, a new season finds Hannah's parents suing Liberty High School, and "a series of ominous Polaroids lead Clay (played by Dylan Minnette) and his classmates to uncover a sickening secret and a conspiracy to cover it up," according to Netflix's press release.

The first season of the show brought about discussions over teen suicide and much controversy. Following the initial release, Netflix added more viewer warnings and included links to suicide-prevention resources.
