This Is Us fans shouldnt worry, because the show isnt ending anytime soon, but the end has already been planned out.

At a For Your Emmy consideration panel held at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles on Tuesday, creator Dan Fogelman talked about a hint involving the last episode.

The moderator asked about how far theyve mapped out the plot and Fogleman answered, "Were pretty far along. Our writers and I are kind of to the end. We have a path for each season of the show. Weve always had a plan I dont think this show will ever despite any success it may or may not have will ever overstay its welcome, and we have a story to tell. And we want to do this the right way. And so we have a plan."

We have a path for each season of the show. Weve always had a plan I dont think this show will ever despite any success it may or may not have will ever overstay its welcome, and we have a story to tell.

Then he dropped, "Ive actually already shot pieces of the final scene in the series."

Fogleman revealed that the show will focus on Toby who has been suffering from depression. They will do a "deep dive" on Beths backstory. Randalls wife and foster child Deja will both get "showcase" episodes.

He also said fans will be "surprised" when they find out the "Who is 'Her?' " mystery.

Fogelman said, "Our plan right now is that big questions will be answered in the course of the season. I think people are going to be surprised with how we use that timeline."
