The president will see you now, Marty McFly.

Michael J. Fox is set to join ABC's hit drama Designated Survivor for a five-episode arc. He will play Ethan West, a high-flying and connected Washington attorney who is hired by the President's Cabinet and ultimately appointed as special prosecutor to investigate former President Cornelius Moss's alleged leak of classified information, according to Deadline.

Can't wait.

The Emmy-winning actors character is a hyper-competitive, bulldog lawyer who is hired by the White House to investigate allegations against former president Cornelius Moss that he leaked classified info. ABC says that makes him a potent adversary for president Tom Kirkman (Kiefer Sutherland), signaling that Kirkman may find himself involved in Moss's mess.

Fox last appeared on Curb Your Enthusiasm and, before that, as Louis Canning on The Good Wife.

Designated Survivor returns Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 10/9c on ABC.
