The elusive Macaulay Culkin made a rare appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and it was amazing.

When the host asked him about being so famous at a young age and his classic Home Alone movies, the former child star admitted he actually never watches.

"I don't really watch them all that often...I've had people want to sit down and watch it with me which is, like, both flattering and creepy," he said.

Culkin even went on to call the movie "background radiation at Christmas time."

I don't really watch them all that often...I've had people want to sit down and watch it with me which is, like, both flattering and creepy.

If the actor does watch one of the movies, he cant think about the plot, only his time making the film. The 37-year-old said he doesnt even leave his house around Christmas, because fans will ask him to make his classic face

"It's my season. It's Macaulay season," he joked. "I try to go out less and less around that time of year."

Culkin seemed in good spirits though. He said there were some perks to looking almost the same as when he made the movie, telling DeGeneres, "I can get into any restaurant I want without a reservation, but while I'm there, everyone's staring at me and all going 'awwww' the whole time."
