It's only a matter of episodes before Grey's Anatomy fans are forced to say goodbye to Doctor April Kepner, but did the lo ABC drama just drop a major hint as to what's to come of the beloved character?

The popular show shared a promo for next week's episode which reveals that April Kepner (played by Sarah Drew) is somehow severely injured.

You only get killed off when your behavior is bad. If you're a nice actor, you die nice... But yeah, these endings aren't tragic.

The doctors at Grey Sloan work tirelessly to save Kepner, with her ex and baby daddy Jackson Avery (played by Jesse Williams) seen crying over her lifeless body as a machine shows that the mother of his child has flatlined.

Meanwhile, Ellen Pompeo recently admitted that Drew's Dr. April Kepner and Jessica Capshaw's Dr. Arizona Robins won't be meeting a horrific end, telling ET, "you only get killed off when your behavior is bad. If you're a nice actor, you die nice... But yeah, these endings aren't tragic."

Grey's Anatomy airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
