Ayesha Curry cooks herself up a new TV show deal

Ayesha Curry will be hosting a new cooking competition show called "Family Food Fight."

Ayesha Curry, the chef, who is expecting her third child with NBA star Stephen Curry, just announced her new project. Shell be hosting a cooking competition called Family Food Fight on ABC.


She shared the announcement in a series of Instagram stories and posts, saying, "So excited I FINALLY get to talk about this. This mama has been hard at work on a new exciting project!!!"

Im cooking up a new show with @abcnetwork! I cant wait for you all to see #FamilyFoodFight a competition featuring 8 families who will battle for the title of Americas No. 1 Food Family.

Curry detailed that shell be a host and executive producer of the series, adding, "Here's to a little more #BGM and positive FUN programming on the air. Woooo hooooo!"


The show will be eight episodes long and feature eight families across the country. They will compete for the title of "Americas number 1 food family" and the winner will receive $100,000.


Eater reported that the show is a spinoff from an Australian series that shares the same name. Curry has hosted a variety of cooking shows; she had two seasons of Ayesha's Home Kitchen on the Food Network and also co-hosted the Great American Baking Show
