Raphael Varane and Real Madrid C.F. have come to an agreement today to extend Varane’s contract until June 30, 2022. No terms of the contract have been released so far, but Varane is scheduled to appear before the media tomorrow afternoon.
The 24 year old became the undisputed starting center on Real’s defensive line following the departure of Pepe, and has contributed to a win at La Liga once and the Champions League three times.
“Real Madrid C. F. and Varane have agreed to extend the player’s contract, which will see him remain at the club until 30 June 2022. Tomorrow, Thursday, at 2pm, Varane will appear before the media in the press room of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.”

Interestingly enough the club has not yet to comment on the contract extension of club manager Zinedine Zidane in any way although earlier this week Zidane mentioned in a press conference that things were finalized.
