XXXTentacion eerily predicted his own death in video before he was killed: here's everything we know

XXXTentacion was fatally shot in Miami on Monday (June 18), and police are looking for any information on who could have killed him.

Emily Treadgold

XXXTentacion was fatally shot in Miami. The controversial artist, whose real name was Jahseh Onfroy, is being remembered by members of the music community. Kanye West, J.Cole, Billie Eilish, Noah Cyrus and others are sharing their memories and appreciation for the 20-year-old rapper that was killed far too young.

While XXX had his share of problems, his career was plagued by domestic violence and witness tampering allegations, he was released while he was awaiting trial so he could tour and release more music.

According to TMZ, the suspects who gunned down the young artist were "black males wearing hoodies" and the "shooter was wearing a red mask."

If worse thing comes to worst, and I fing die or some s and I'm not able to see out my dreams, I at least want to know that the kids perceived my message and were able to make something of themselves and able to take my message and use it and turn it into something positive and to at least have a good life.

Social media sleuths were quick to point out local rappers Soldier Kidd and Soldier Jojo were posting on social media. One photo shows a red mask in the car alongside the rappers. Another showed that they were just minutes away from XXXs location before he was killed. They were at  Hook Fish and Chicken; only 6-8 minutes away from the motorcycle shop.

Soldier Kidd posted a video saying he had no part in the crime, telling his followers, "Man we all got love for the Florida n**ga. I got love for Broward. I don't even know who the man was. We out here handling business. We out here getting money bro. We aint go no time for none of this shit thats going on. But listen, all my condolences go to the mans family and what not. I aint have nothing to do."

Theres a lot of evidence that says otherwise, but coincidences can happen. XXXTentacion had his little feuds, but none of them seemed to spark the shooting.

XXX had a lot of problems with his XXL freshman classmate Uglygod, but even he said, "I know we publicly had our disagreements, but what the media doesnt know is that we handled it all behind the scenes like grown ass men, and Im glad we didWe gonna miss you and Im gonna maintain the balance that we last talked about. Rest easy, homie."
