Stars say ‘There is No Love in Fluorescent Light’
The Canadian band writes about love that’s been compromised.
The title references the idea that romantic connections will die if they’re not taken outside. The songs are dreamy, honey-soaked sentiments with vocalists Amy Millan and Torquil Campell. Songs like “Losing You” reference paranoia and consciousness while “Alone” is about reclusion. “Privilege” is about having too many expectations and the ultimate let down.
