Rick Ross on life support - family rushes to hospital: report

Rick Ross was hospitalized early Thursday morning after he was found unresponsive in his Florida home by police and emergency teams.

Rick Ross has been hospitalized and is hooked up to a machine that is working as his heart and lungs, according to a new report.


News broke on Friday that the music mogul was found unresponsive at his home in Florida on Thursday and was "slobbering" from his mouth.

Ross is in a Miami hospital and is undergoing treatment in the cardiac unit, according to TMZ. He was put on ECMO, or extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, which is used to oxygenate the blood out of his body before it can be pumped back in. This is technically a form of life support. 


The 42-year-old has a history of suffering from seizures.
