Craig Mack was a legend in 90s hip-hop. He helped put Diddy's Bad Boy Records on the map. It's reported that he died of heart failure in his home in Walterboro, South Carolina at the age of 46. He left his career to commit more to his religion. His former producer Alvin Toney said he struggled with illness for a while and "prepared for whatever comes, to go home to the Lord. He was prepared to do that. He wasnt scared. He was ready."

I wanted the world to know the talent he had. It was something I wanted people to enjoy, but it was cut short because he was very religious and wanted to go to church.
