Before Meek Mill took the stage for the surprise set at Miami's Rolling Loud Festival, DJ Khaled announced that the crowd was about to witness something "historic."

The Philadelphia rapper played 20 minutes for a roaring crowd at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, in his first concert since his high-profile release from a Pennsylvania prison in April.

It feels good to be back and free in front of the motherfucking people. Thank you to everybody that supported me. They tried to take my freedom. They tried to crush my dreams. But now we're in Miami glowing the fuck up. Let's get it!

The rapper brought out Tory Lanez, Gunna and Lil Baby to rock the stage alongside him.

The 31-year-old was released in late April after serving five months of a two-to-four-year sentence for probation violations via drug and gun convictions from a decade ago.
