The Kids See Ghosts listening party happened last night, and there was definitely a delay. It was set to start streaming at 8 p.m. PST on the WAV app, but the app had a lot of delays and even crashed at one point.

Finally, at 10:45 PST the album, Kids See Ghosts, arrived. For a close group of about 200 friends and industry insiders gathered around a huge bonfire. West and Cudi were elated and smiled during the party.

Cudi is West's protege and worked with him on many of his biggest songs.

I feel so blessed. For everyone that didn't turn they back. I'm in tears right now. I love all of you

The listening party was worth the wait; fans were commenting on the production and Cudis lyricism.

Cudi and West serve as the perfect foils to each other. The album used Wests knack for soul samples and Cudis psychedelic music for a sound that shouldnt work, but it does. With features from Pusha-T and even a Nirvana sample, the project shows how far the two push their musical boundaries.
