The hip-hop world was shaken by the news of XXXTentacion's untimely death. XXX was a controversial artist that was fighting a lot of demons. He was facing a slew of charges revolving around the domestic abuse of his pregnant girlfriend.

He was shot in Miami and pronounced dead soon after. The 20-year-old rapper will be remembered for his thought-provoking music. His fellow artists took to social media to share their memories and express their grief.

No one can be so self-righteous that they are happy when a youth dies. The young still have the capability to reform.

Noah Cyrus shared a sweet message as the two did a song together. She said, "I found a friend in you, someone with no judgement. Someone who understood what being judged felt like. Your art made such an impact on peoples livesincluding mine."

Kanye West, no stranger to controversy, said, "I never told you how much you inspired me when you were here thank you for existing."

J. Cole stepped in and said, "Enormous talent and limitless potential and a  strong desire to be a better person."

Jidenna had some words for haters, adding, "No one can be so self-righteous that they are happy when a youth dies. The young still have the capability to reform."

He continued, "For the record, I was never in support of his ways, especially his domestic abuse which I found to be horrific. But I will never demonize an individual without criticizing the society and/or circumstance in which they were raised. Especially someone under 21."
