G-Eazy breaks silence after arrest in Sweden: 'I am embarrassed'

Rapper G-Eazy says he was embarrassed by his recent arrest but is thankful they let him go and that he's able to be back on the road.

G-Eazy was arrested in Sweden for drug possession and resisting arrest earlier this week, he avoided jail time but had to pay around $9,000 for his crimes and about $810 to the security guard he allegedly assaulted.

 

The rapper shared on Instagram that he was "Grateful & blessed to be free & safe."

 

The "No Limit" artist was able to go to Copenhagen for the next stop on his tour, but said he was, "Embarrassed & apologetic beyond words about the incident."

G-Eazy is grateful that they were able to resolve the problem and he was let go, telling fans on Instagram, "Im so f--king grateful they let me go, craziest experience of my life, awful night with a lot of bad luck and some even worse decisions but like I said Im grateful as f-ck to be a free man, back on tour performing for the fans."

 

The 28-year-old concluded the lengthy post by reminding his fans how thankful he is for them, adding, "Thank you to everyone whos held me down along the way and supported this journey, I appreciate you more than youll ever know. Love."
