The singer furthered her solidarity with the city by getting a tiny bee tattoo placed behind her ear.

The bee is a historical symbol of the city stemming from the Industrial Revolution. The factories were called “beehives” due to their workers and productivity.

Thousands gathered in Manchester to remember the victims. More than 800 were injured in the attack. Prince William and Prime Minister Theresa May joined the families of victims at a service at Manchester Cathedral.
