Arctic Monkeys announce first show in three years

Arctic Monkeys are headlining Firefly alongside Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and The Killers. Could this mean more tour dates and a new album?

Emily Treadgold

The Arctic Monkeys have been on a long break, their incredible last album AM was released in 2013 and fans have been patiently waiting for any news on their next. Frontman Alex Turner has been active in his other band The Last Shadow Puppets but we were all hoping for more.

Nick found time for the track day before recording began on the eagerly anticipated sixth album, started at a secret location in September. The new album will be out next year because if it isnt, weve got problems.

For The Ride

The band will be headlining Firefly Music Festival which is held in The Woodlands of Delaware on June 14th-17th. This could mean additional tour dates and festivals. Bassist Nick O'Malley made time to race motorcycles and commented that their 6th album would be out in 2018.
