RELEASE DATE

After breaking every record in 2017 with "Bodak Yellow" and easily becoming the hottest artists of the year, Cardi B's debut album 'Invasion of Privacy' was one of the most highly-anticipated drops of 2018. In true Cardi fashion the first track, "Get Up 10" is her origin story. She raps, "You get two options stripping or lose" and talks about her rise to fame. She's already released tracks "Drip" featuring Migos, "Be Careful" about infidelity in a relationship, "Bartier Cardi" featuring 21 Savage and her smash-hit "Bodak Yellow."

I always want to I'm not going to say defend strippers, but I just feel like people don't understand it," she said. "I wanted to let people know, 'I was a stripper. I wasn't fucking. I wasn't a prostitute. I wasn't sucking dick.' First of all, that's illegal in New York City. You're going to jail for real.

Other features include Chance The Rapper, SZA, Kehlani, YG, Bad Bunny, and J Balvin. The J Balvin and Bad Bunny collab "I Like It" is a hook-heavy song which samples the infectious Pete Rodriguez classic "I Like It Like That." The entire album shows off her strengths and defines her place in hip-hop. She's already become the first female artist to have her album achieve fold status on the release day.
