Krista Glover, the wife of golfer and 2009 U.S. Open champion Lucas Glover, was arrested Saturday night and charged with misdemeanor domestic violence and resisting arrest, after an alleged attack on her mother-in-law, according to multiple outlets.

The altercation happened after Glover missed the 54-hole cut in last week's Players Championship, the so-called fifth "major," in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

It didn't end when the police arrived; she was reportedly belligerent when authorities, and continued to threatened her husband.

Wait till the tour [PGA] hears about this. You will lose your job. This is why cops get shot in the face. Wait till I talk with the judge, you will be f---ing fired over this.

According to the actual police report, the golfer told authorities in what appears to be a constant state with his wife, that "when [Lucas] plays a bad round of golf, Krista proceeds to start an altercation with him and telling him how he is a loser and a p***y, how he needs to fire everyone, and how he'd better win, or her and the kids would leave him, and he would never see the kids again."

When police arrived at the home, they reported noticed multiple lacerations to Lucas and his 62-year-old mother, who had blood on her shirt. She attacked her husband's mother.

The Glovers live in Jupiter and were married in 2012. They have two children, a 6-year-old girl, and a 3-year-old boy.

Social media caught the story, and instant jokes arose from the situation, making despicable humor out of evident domestic abuse.

Glover eventually posted a statement on his Twitter, likely to save face.
