Here's something you don't hear about very often someone threatening to kill a largely well-liked and successful sports commissioner.

A possibly disturbed Queens, New York basketball fan was arrested for sending a menacing email to NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, according to the New York Post.

It appears he wanted to play in the NBA, but there's no word on if the email was related to the pitiful nature of the New York Knicks' existence.

[Im going to] come up there and kill you with my fking gun.

David Pyant
Ex-con, beleaguered Knicks fan

A 27-year-old David Pyant purportedly wrote to Silver in July 2017, that he would "come up there and kill you with my fking gun," if he didn't let him play in the NBA.

After some follow-up, the South Jamaica resident was arrested and charged with aggravated harassment on Friday, according to NYPD sources.

The Post learned that Pyant has thirteen priors, and served time in prison for robbery and he doesn't have any known basketball references. So, it's hard to say if he could've helped the Knicks.
