David Beckham heartbroken that sons don't play soccer: 'it’s down to Harper now'

The former superstar was on popular British talk show "The Graham Norton Show" on Friday, and discussed his daughter, Harper, taking up the family name in his beloved sport.

Former England, Machester United, and Los Angeles Galaxy star turned model and mogul David Beckham expressed a fatherly sadness at not seeing his boys - Brooklyn (19), Romeo (15) and Cruz (13) on the football pitch anymore.

 

The former superstar was on popular British talk show, The Graham Norton Show on Friday, and discussed his daughter, Harper, taking up the family name in his beloved sport.

She loves it. The boys don't play anymore, which is heartbreaking.

Beckham insisted he was only joking about the heartbreaking end; however, he looked a bit wistful and appeared that he indeed missed seeing his sons getting after it on the pitch.

 

But he's pleased that at least one of his children have taken up the sport that made him an international star.

 

"They have a talent, but obviously none of them play anymore," he said to the host. "So, it's down to Harper."
