Wendys, White Castle and more fast-food chains hilariously clap back at IHOb's new name change

IHOP isn't getting away with changing their name without getting a ton of shade from other burger joints.

Just when you thought the world was getting a little better, IHOP, the beloved International House of Pancakes, decided to turn your world upside down and drop the "p" for a "b."

So, what does that "b" stand for? Something normal like breakfast, maybe brunch?

No, IHOB means international house of burgers. Burgers?!?! Do we need more burgers? Where are our pancakes? Fast food chains reacted accordingly on social media after the news broke.

Remember when you were like 7 and thought changing your name to Thunder BearSword would be super cool? Like that, but our cheeseburgers are still better.

Wendy's, notorious for being amazing Twitter trolls, were first on the scene. They said, "Remember when you were like 7 and thought changing your name to Thunder BearSword would be super cool? Like that, but our cheeseburgers are still better."

White Castle decided there is now a new opportunity for more pancakes and took the opposite approach, saying, "We are excited to announce that we will be switching our name to Pancake Castle."

American classic A&W restaurants decided to change their name but also not be able to back it up in a valid way. They said, "Inspired by the International House of Burgers announcement, we are also changing our name (Please do not ask what it means we dont know either.)"
