Per B/R Kicks, sneaker giant Adidas has signed New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge, the reigning American League Rookie of the Year, to its tremendous roster.

Judge's signing gives the brand an enormous presence in the New York market, leveraging the Yankees branding position. The slugger will make his official brand debut in the Three Stripes during Opening Day, per Bleacher - who also interviewed Judge upon news of the announcement.

The biggest thing that drew me in with Adidas was not only the on-the-field stuff but the off-field stuff, too. They've provided me with a lifestyle element to be creative

"We can't give away any spoilers yet, but we've got some things in the works that will be pretty nice," said Judge, to Complex Sports, when asked if he would wear any premium fits during the upcoming season.

Judge adds one of the few mainstream MLB players - in the world's largest market - to Adidas' mushrooming list of sporting talent, alongside James Harden, Damian Lillard, Lionel Messi, and Kanye West.
