Dragon Ball fans get hyped!

At Google's Game Developer Conference over the weekend, Bandai Namco announced a new Dragon Ball game, Dragon Ball Legends, coming to mobile phones. The game is slightly different from Dragon Ball Z games of the past as it will feature player vs. player battles, but will consist of players using cards to attack rather than using buttons like a traditional console game.

We're not going to muck around with providing pseudo experiences of PvP where players fight other player datas. It's not going to be like that. We'll actually have the players be fighting one on one, anywhere anytime.

Dragon Ball Legends will release later this year and will run on Google's Cloud Platform technology which will allow millions of players from around the world to game together. Gamers can expect all the classic characters including Super Saiyan Goku, Piccolo, Pan, Vegeta, Frieza, Nappa, and an original character.
