Call of Duty WW2 new update leak

A YouTube video leak has surfaced showing new weapons and game modes prepared for Call of Duty: WWII.

A YouTuber by the name MrJaRni leaked a video showcasing new weapons and game modes coming soon to Call of Duty: WWII. The original video has been taken down, but not before mirrors were uploaded to other hosting sites. The video starts off with gameplay footage of the classic Gun Game and Demolition, both of which are currently not playable in Call of Duty: WWII. Other game modes shown in the video are Infected, Control, and Lockdown.

Hopefully, the addition of weapon-based loot crates will not throw off the balance of a game currently devoid of any pay-to-win mechanics. In contrast to the system originally planned and currently disabled for Star Wars Battlefront II the loot crates earned in Call of Duty: WWII are for cosmetic items, while progression is still earned via the traditional route of actually playing the game and performing well.

The leaked gameplay also previewed the Gewehr 43, Sten, and the Volkssturmgewehr. No official statements have been provided by Activision on when the new content will roll out, or if the content will be a free update or part of the Season Pass.
