Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant, Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt, and longtime tennis great Roger Federer have all been named to TIME's list of the world's 100 most influential people for 2018 on Thursday.

The iconic magazine has Federer, winner of a record 20 Grand Slam titles, on the cover of the issue.

Who knows? After I leave office, J.J. Watt could be drafted as the next mayor of Houston.

Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner

Other athletes, including snowboarder Chloe Kim, figure skater Adam Rippon, and Indian cricketer Virat Kohli were also named.

Federer's entry was written by another giant Microsoft founder Bill Gates. Texans star Watt, made an enourmous amount of contributions to the Hurricane Harvey recovery in Houston by Mayor Sylvester Turner and continues to do more and more for the community.

"Every few years, a professional athlete touches the heart and soul of a city in a way that has nothing to do with athleticism," said Turner. "Such is the case with Houston Texans star J.J. Watt, who is a star on and off the field."
