Browns trade for Osweiler; Romo to Houston?
The Browns just traded for Brock Osweiler, formerly starting QB for the Houston Texans, and a 2017 6th rounder and a 2018 2nd rounder. The deal is pretty much a salary dump for the Texans, freeing up $10M in cap space, $16M cash, and securing CLE’s 207 4th rounder.
Seeing as the Cowboys were recently rumored to be considering releasing Romo, this bold move by the Texans signals they’re serious about pursuing a potential trade.
Such a deal would immediately make the Texans the favorites to win the AFC South.
