Late Wednesday evening, New England Patriots Tight End Rob Gronkowski was added to the Patriots injury report due to a thigh injury. Gronk has been the Patriots leading receiver this year hauling in 20 receptions for 318 yards and two scores. Gronk came in to the season as the #1 TE in most fantasy leagues and hasn’t disappointed thus far.
Although the injury appears to be minor, it is worth keeping an eye on due to his history of injuries. It is reported that Gronk will see the field, although he might be limited to playing time. Most Fantasy owners will want to keep Gronk in the game as he is a big target in the red-zone.
He’s a spectacular player and he’s just matured so much, football’s so important to him. He’s got a great love for the game and I think that really wears off on his teammates. When he’s going, it’s so great for everybody else.

Keep an eye out on the Patriots back-up tight end Dwayne Allen as he could become a bigger part of the offense if Gronk misses significant time. Brandin Cooks, Chris Hogan and Danny Amendola, and running back James White could all see a boost in their production as well with Gronk being limited.
