In the Giants game vs. the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. went down after injury his ankle with four minutes left in the game. The training staff came out and after examination carted him off the field as tears rolled down his face. The injury was a huge loss coming after Brandon Marshall, Dwayne Harris, and Sterling Shepard all exited the game early due to injury.

Beckham was going up for a catch when a Chargers defender came down and landed on his left ankle. This is the second time Odell hurt the same ankle this season, as he had previously injured the same ankle in pre-season play vs. the Cleveland Browns.

Obviously, you never want to see any receiver go down, and it looked like he was in some pain.

Before exiting the game, Beckham had recorded 97 yards and scored one touchdown. The Giants recently commented that Odell will be out for the remainder of the season and will undergo surgery later this week.
