Tom Brady just shaved his head - but it was for a good cause

The New England Patriots star is in the midst of a media run, making the rounds starting Good Morning America. He will also be on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert this Monday.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady got brand new buzz cut from barber Pini Swissa on Thursday at a charity event supporting the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. 

Sitting alongside Massachusetts governor Charlie Baker at the Granite Telecommunications' offices in Quincy, MA. After some speculation, Brady turned up as the mystery sports star to get a haircut for a cause.

Per the Boston Herald, Granite pledged $5 million to Dana-Farber if 1,000 more agreed to shave their heads or beards, to which Brady agreed. Swissa is his usual barber. 

Brady, who's beginning a short press run, was on ABC's Good Morning America describing his Super Bowl LII loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. The 5-time Super Bowl winning quarterback said the loss was a lesson for his kids.
