Tennessee Titans show off new uniforms for 20th season

As the Titans (formerly the Houston Oilers) go into their 20th season in their current iteration, the striking uniform update represents the first major change during the franchise's time in Nashville.

The Tennessee Titans' new jerseys leaked on the internet earlier this week, but they didn't appear to have changed much. However, the team and the NFL provided an official look, with the new helmets, and, boy, does their new look make a difference.

Tennessee has had a significant uniform improvement since the franchise went from the Houston Oilers to the Titans in 1999. So any change would be noticeable and relatively splashy.

The updated uniforms don't disappoint, and new head coach Mike Vrabel was excited about it.

Tennessee unveiled the new fits during a huge bash in Nashville on Wednesday night which included a performance from Florida Georgia Line, according to ESPN.

One of the standout features is the helmet which is a striking navy blue with a two-toned silver stripe, and the Titans "sword." The use of the deep navy makes the new fit pop, especially in the navy/white/lightblue jersey set. The numbers are now sharper and more pronounced.

Nashville knows how to throw a party.
