Roger Goodell runs a 5.41 40-yard dash inside league office

The league commissioner, known to be in good shape, ran his 40 in 5.41, which was better than his 5.53 from 2015. Perhaps he should investigate himself for PEDs.

Every year at the NFL combine, NFL Network anchor Rich Eisen famously runs a fully-suited and timed 40-yard dash, using his tremendous platform to benefit St. Jude Children's Hospital as part of the #RunRichRun campaign.

This year he wanted some help in raising money and called out NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, challenging him on the NFL Network Monday from the combine.

So, the commish put on some workout shoes, went on down to the 5th floor of the league offices, went ran his 40-yard dash.

Heard you call me out @richeisen. Its on. Headed down to the 5th floor @nfl345 to run my 40. #RunRichRun @StJude

What was great was that the $200-million man, to Jerry Jones' chagrin, ran past a row of cubicles, high-fiving all the regular folk, or his employees.

Per Brian McCarthy of the league office, Goodell ran a blistering 5.41, bettering his time from 2015, a pedestrian 5.53.

According to SBNation, his 2018 time was better than six players at this year's combine.
