Rams ordered to pay Reggie Bush $12.5M for his 2015 knee injury

Reggie Bush's NFL career may very well be over, but he's about to get a big payday.

Reggie Bush just came out on top.

The 33-year-old former running back is still set to receive a large chunk of change from the Los Angeles Rams.

A St. Louis jury has found the Rams liable of the severe knee injury he suffered at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis in 2015, according to ESPN.

I'm very happy with the verdict. The people spoke and decided very fairly.

It all happened while Bush was playing for the San Francisco 49ers. He ran out of bounds on a punt return in the 2015 game at the Rams' dome and slipped on some concrete. He suffered a torn lateral meniscus, which ended his season.

Bush filed the suit in 2016, alleging that the franchise and the public stadium authorities allowed "a dangerous condition to exist at the Dome." He called the area where the injury occurred "a concrete ring of death."

Bush will receive a total of $12.5 million$4.95 million in compensatory damages and $7.5 million in punitive damages.

The former star player is still involved in the NFL and is now working as an analyst for the network. As for the concrete ring of death, it is no more, seeing as the Rams moved from St. Louis to Los Angeles back in 2016.

Great show today @gmfb with the squad @kylebrandtnfl @heykayadams
