New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady posted on his Instagram, showing some reflection now almost a week after a crushing 41-33 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII.

He was all class in thanking the fans, his teammates, Patriot fans, both the New England and Philadelphia organizations, and his family for their continued support.

"There are many emotions when you come up short of your goal," Brady wrote in his post.

And they are all part of learning and growing in this journey of life. Learning turns everything into a positive. And the number one feeling I have had the past 4 days is gratitude.

The 40-year-old won his third MVP - the oldest to win the award. Now a three-time winner, Brady passed for a league-leading 4,577 yards and 32 touchdowns.

Brady also threw for a Super Bowl and playoff-record 505 yards and three touchdowns in the Super Bowl loss. He continues showing everyone his talk of playing to the age of 45 is no joke and entirely within the realm of reality.
