Eagles torch Vikings, reach 3rd Super Bowl

Quarterback Nick Foles turned in a masterful performance, passing for 352 yards and three touchdowns against the vaunted Minnesota defense.

The Philadephia Eagles dominated the Minnesota Vikings, in a 38-7 rout during the NFC Championship.

They will meet the New England Patriots, who beat the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC Championship earlier in the day, at Super Bowl LII in Minnesota.

The Vikings defense, often called the NFL's best defense, was rolled by a resurgent Nick Foles. Minnesota's inability (three total turnovers) to maintain possession didn't help matters.

I'm so happy for Nick and the offense...and for Nick, everything he's been through and battled, he stayed the course and we all believed in him.

Having replaced Carson Wentz in the 13th week, Foles didn't just manage a game, he was a major cog in the Eagles victory, going 26 for 33, with 352 yards, three touchdowns, and 95.8 quarterback rating.

Vegas doesn't seem to think Foles can do it again. On Sunday, Westgate SuperBook introduced the Eagles as 5.5-point dogs to the New England Patriots for Super Bowl LII.
