The Cleveland Browns have reportedly inked slot wide receiver Jarvis Landry to a lo agreement that would average larger than $15 million per year, according to ESPN.

The Browns traded for Landry last month, coming over from the Miami Dolphins for a fourth-round pick this year (123rd overall) and a seventh-round pick in 2019 to Miami in an exchange of picks.

It's very hard to find. I think being in the slot, it's not so much as being a good slot receiver. It's having instincts for the game. Knowing your coverages like the back of your hand. Understanding that youre going to have to make contact catches, because youre there in the mix.

Landry would play the 2018 season on the franchise tag, which the Dolphins exercised before the trade, which would've paid him $16 million this season. However, Landry ultimately wanted to be locked into a lo deal with guaranteed dollars rivaling the league's best at his position.

He now ranks alongside Falcons wideout Julio Jones, both with contracts that include $47 million in guarantees.
