The 49ers released a statement Friday night: "The San Francisco 49ers organization is aware of the matter involving Reuben Foster, and we are currently gathering all relevant facts."

Questions will inevitably be raised about Foster, regarding his prior troubles.

Short any inconsistency from the arrest, the likely reprimand from the league could void out the bonuses for next season.
