Marshawn Lynch, Jennifer Lopez, and Michael Strahan are among the high-profile names in the latest round of investing for Esports organization NRG which closed at $15 million. The investing group comprised of a number of celebrities as well as multiple investors from the Bay Area with an interest on emerging esports markets.
This is the second time retired New York Yankee, Alex Rodriguez has invested in NRG. The first round including Shaquille Neal and Chicago White Sox shortstop Jimmy Rollins.
NRG is currently competing in games such as; Counter Strike GO, Rocket League, Overwatch, and Smite.
