Larry Fitzgerald sets another record

Larry Fitzgerald set yet another NFL record last night on Thursday Night Football as he became the second youngest receiver.

Thomas Miller

Larry Fitzgerald has been one of the most consistent receivers in the league over his 14 seasons, and Thursday Night was no exception. On what appeared to be just another 17-yard catch, Fitzgerald became the second youngest receiver in NFL to hit the 15,000 yards. At age 34, Fitzgerald has been a staple of the Arizona Cardinals offense for over a decade.

I talked about it before, I dont really look at the milestones like that. Its a long journey.

Fitzgerald is now one of six players in NFL history to surpass the coveted 15,000 receiving yard with only Hall-of-Famer Jerry Rice reaching the sooner. Fitzgerald is on his way to becoming the second on the all-time receiving as he has less than 1,000 yards to move into the number two spot. Jerry Rice holds the top spot on the list being the only receiver in NFL to surpass the 20,000-yard mark.
