The Philadelphia Eagles will be without veteran running back and return man Darren Sproles for the remainder of the season. Sproles was injured on a play during the first half of Sundays game after being hit by Giants safety Darian Thompson.
Sproles has since been placed on IR after being diagnosed with both a torn ACL and broken arm. The Eagles will have to rely on Wendell Smallwood, LeGarrette Blount, and Corey Clement to carry the load at Rb for now with Donnel Pumphrey also on IR.
Sproles has said that the had planned the 2017 NFL season to be his last, but has not commented on the issue since his injury.
