Dak Prescott received another sponsorship this week from the yogurt company Dannon as he continues his second season as quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. The decision came the same day Dannon decided to no longer feature the Carolina QB following Newton’s widely criticized press conference where he belittled a female reporter on national television.
In an interview this past Wednesday following practice Cam Newton was asked a question concerning the physicality of WR Devin Funchess’ routes by female Carolina Panthers beat writer, Jourdan Rodrigue, and completely dismissed her as a reporter. Rodrigue reportedly confronted the QB after the press conference where Cam would not apologize.
“We are shocked and disheartened at the behavior and comments of Cam Newton towards Jourdan Rodrigue, which we perceive as sexist and disparaging to all women. It’s simply not OK to belittle anyone based on gender.”
Spokesman for Dannon
Dak has already been scheduled to begin shooting for his first TV commercial this week in Dallas. With the addition of Dannon, Dak Prescott is stacking up the sponsorships for being such a young player in the league. So far Dak has received endorsements from Dannon, Pepsi, Tostitos, Nicholas Air, Citi and Keurig.
