One of the best things about Disney and Pixar releasing a new movie are the fantastic and unique shorts that come with the new films.

For the upcoming highly-anticipated Incredibles 2 film (out June 15, 2018), Pixar will introduce fans to a new animated short and it's beyond adorable.

Enter: Bao.

It felt like a really universally appealing story that a lot of people could identify with.

Bao, which was first announced back in March, will portray an "empty-nesting Chinese mom" who brings a pork dumpling to life.

The short, directed by Domee Shi (who will be the first woman to direct a Pixar short film), is a "magical, modern-day fairy tale, kind of like a Chinese Gingerbread Man story," she revealed to Entertainment Weekly.
