During the London shoot for the film, Cruise says was supposed to jump from one building to another, hit the side before climbing up, but he accidentally crashed into the wall and broke his ankle.

The new trailer for Mission Impossible Fallout was released by Paramount Pictures on Wednesday.

 

Back in the saddle as the electric Ethan Hunt, Tom Cruise leaps from tall buildings and a plane, flies a chopper, and looks cool wear leather on motorcycles, as he challenges Henry Cavill (who's the villain) in what will be this summer's tentpole blockbuster movie.

 

Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Rebecca Ferguson, and Michelle Monaghan are all in tow. 

 

Mission: Impossible Fallout opens in theaters on July 27.


I was chasing Henry [Cavill] and was meant to hit the side of the wall and pull myself over but the mistake was my foot hitting the wall. I knew instantly my ankle was broken and I really didnt want to do it again so just got up and carried on with the take. I said, Its broken. Thats a wrap. Take me to hospital and then everyone got on the phone and made their vacation arrangements.

According to his interview with British talk show host Graham Norton, the 55-year-old actor broke his ankle while filming a stunt in London. Cruise says was supposed to jump from one building to another and hit the side before climbing up, but accidentally crashed into the wall and broke his ankle.Evidently, from the look of the trailer, his pain will be our gain.
