Indiana Jones may be getting a whole new look!

 

Director Steven Spielberg revealed in a new interview that he would consider introducing a female version of famed professor once the upcoming fifth film is complete, you know, once Harrison Ford hangs up his iconic fedora and whip.

"I have been very lucky to be influenced by women, several of whom I have just loved madly my mom and my wife," the 71-year-old told The Sun.

 

Spielberg did confirm that the fifth film "will be Harrison Ford's last Indiana Jones movie, I am pretty sure, but it will certainly continue after that."

We'd have to change the name from Jones to Joan. And there would be nothing wrong with that.

With that in mind, a name change would be next on the docket.

The next Indiana Jones film, starring Ford is scheduled for release in 2020.
