It's almost been a decade since Twilight hit theaters, but there's at least one actor who is grateful for the time on set: Robert Pattinson.

The book had an intensely devoted fanbase that turned Pattinson and Kristen Stewart into huge stars. He was relatively unknown until he got the role of Edward Cullen in the movie.

Pattinson recently told E! News that he doesn't regret doing films, saying, "that first movie was great" when reflecting on his early role.

I wasn't entirely sure I was going to be an actor until after that movie so I'll always appreciate it.

"It was really, really fun," he explained. "It was a massive turning point in my life. I had an entirely different life after. I wasn't entirely sure I was going to be an actor until after that movie so I'll always appreciate it."

Pattinson was shockingly recently spotted hanging out with ex-girlfriend Stewart at a friend's party in Los Angeles getting Twilight fans all fired up about seeing them together again.

The actor recently gushed about working with leading ladies, including his ex, telling Entertainment Tonight, "I've worked with some real power houses. Definitely, Mia is one of them, obviously. Kristin Scott Thomas, Uma Thurman."

"Kristen Stewart, Kristen too! Kristen Stewart as well, yeah, yeah, yeah," he insisted. "Catherine Hardwicke, too. She's great."
