Brie Larson shows off what 9 months of 'Captain Marvel' training did for her body

Actress Brie Larson has gone through a whole body transformation for her upcoming starring role in "Captain Marvel," and she looks awesome.

The stunning actress has been putting in work this last past year as she gears up for her starring role in Captain Marvel -- which means a full platter of strength training at the gym like a real-life superhero. Seriously, step aside Steve Rogers, there's a new captain in town. 

9 months of training really does some stuff to your body.

Larson took to Instagram to show off what nine months of intensive strength training can do to a person's body, between pull-ups and weight pushups, she's got it going on. 

 

"Nine months of training really does some stuff to your body," the 28-year-old captioned her first post. 

 

In a followup post, Larson has a weighted chain resting on her back, and she does a set of push-ups on the floor. She captioned that video, "Getting stronger is a process I'm committed to showing up for every day."
