LeBron James is really pushing to take his name to the next level: enter Hollywood.

The Cavs superstar will be producing an action-comedy, Public Enemy with SpringHill Entertainment, which James co-owns with media personality Maverick Carter, according to Deadline.

That's not all. Actor Channing Tatum, Reid Carolin, and Peter Kiernans production company, Free Association, are also on board to produce the film. The script will be handled by Lucas Carter.

LeBron's been in front of the cameras since he was 18. Hes very comfortable in front of the camera. He didnt need an acting coach.

The action comedy pitch that has been acquired by New Line Cinema, and is described as a "subversive action comedy that looks at the speed of media in our current landscape."

Sadly, the report doesnt explicitly say that the two of them (Tatum and James) will be starring in it, but we will hold out hope.
