Look for Jurassic World 3 to arrive in theaters June 11, 2021.

Yes, that quickly.

Per USA Today, Universal Studios revealed that the third installment has officially started production on Wednesday. Original Jurassic Park director Steven Spielberg and Colin Trevorrow will serve as executive producers.

2015's Jurassic World starred then-rising star Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard and took in a monster $1.7 billion in the worldwide box office.

It will be darker and scarier than the previous film. Obviously, when you have Chris Pratt it will also be very funny. But it will be darker. It is the second step in a trilogy, and the second step is always dark as in The Empire Strikes Back or The Wrath of Khan, which are the examples you always get. The film takes the story where it has never been before.

The upcoming J.A. Bayona-helmed Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom releases on June 22.

Now a bonafide international star, Pratt comes back as the adventurous and witty raptor expert Owen Grady, along with Howard also reprising her role as park leader Claire Dearing.

Screenwriter Emily Carmichael (Pacific Rim Uprising, The Black Hole), will write the screenplay with Trevorrow.
