Los Angeles police are currently investigating the possible theft of the first Iron Man suit worn by Robert Downey Jr. from a Pacoima-area warehouse.

The suit disappeared from a prop storage warehouse in the 13000 block of Weidner Street sometime between February and late April, per Officer Christopher No, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department. It's valued at $325,000.

It was reported by the storage facility that the prop was missing. It is considered a burglary

Downey wore the suit in the 2008 Iron Man film directed by Jon Favreau, the movie that thrust forward the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as currently constituted.

According to the LA Times, warehouse employees "just happened to check" Tuesday and noticed the costume wasn't there. Interestingly enough, the LAPD spokeswoman declined to report who owns the warehouse and no other items were reported missing.
