After months of negotiations Company 3 reached an agreement with its parent company to work independently as a corporate entity, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Company 3 will continue to be led by president and lead colorist, Stefan Sonnefeld -- who's long list of credits include Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Wonder Woman, and Beauty and the Beast

"[Sonnenfeld] missed the hands-on nature of running his own creative business, will return to his roots as president of Company 3. Stefan will focus full-time on the day-to-day leadership of the business he founded, to deliver his vision for Company 3, which will remain a corporate entity, in a more entrepreneurial operating structure.
